Advice in Friendships
We are presently recruiting female friend pairs for a paid research study being conducted through December 15th, 2016 (or until we reach 100 participants). We are interested in studying how friends provide advice to one another on life and romantic relationship events. At least one member of the friend pair must currently be involved in a romantic relationship. The other friend may also be or may be single. Both friends need to be able to come together to our lab at the Social Science Research Center for an hour.
Students and community members are welcome to participate. You must be over 18 and speak fluent English.
The broad goal of this study is to understand how friends communicate. You’ll be asked to complete a screening questionnaire online and then if you meet the criteria for the study, you will be asked together to the lab for an observational study.
